Do not try to cut calories on this challenge

Let your hunger mechanism heal. When you are “fat adapted” your hunger will be a reliable guide that will lead you to a lean body. During the first week or so though, you may be hungry a lot. You are becoming fat adapted, that is, your body is becoming efficient at accessing your bodyfat and using it for energy. Until this adaptation happens, your hunger may still be guided by blood sugar swings. Don’t let yourself get overly hungry. Eat when you feel hungry, even if that is every two hours.

One of the great benefits of eating like our ancestors is the ability to skip meals without discomfort. But this will come later. Pack paleo snacks.

Full Moon Workout Monday Jan. 9th

We do it at 9:00pm. Those who have done it before, know. If you haven’t, come on in and find out. This one happens to be right at the beginning of the paleo challenge, so all post workout eats should follow the challenge guidelines.

Whole 30 Paleo Challenge Starts Monday

Eat real food – meat, seafood, eggs, tons of vegetables, some fruit, and plenty of good fats from fruits, oils, nuts and seeds. Eat foods with very few ingredients, all pronounceable ingredients, or better yet, no ingredients listed at all because they’re totally natural and unprocessed.
